An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Cordara in the 10th minute of play forced FC Acatar's goalkeeper Diamantino Lobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Fred Tutorskiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the game, Aras Görkem Zümer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chivos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Acatar the free kick. After 16 played minutes Chivos got a freekick which was hit by Aras Görkem Zümer. Chivos's Jesus Atarratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudiu Fecioru in the 18th minute of play. After 20 played minutes FC Acatar got a freekick which was hit by Fred Tutorskiy. Jesus Atarratze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Alexandrescu in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lv Yu in the 25th minute of play forced Chivos's goalkeeper Jesus Atarratze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Cordara lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Diamantino Lobo. Diamantino Lobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Cordara in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Hök in the 38th minute of play forced Chivos's goalkeeper Jesus Atarratze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Wilfredo Cordara came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Chivos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Cordara couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Cordara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Ignacy Konopka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diamantino Lobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aras Görkem Zümer, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Chivos's goalkeeper Jesus Atarratze had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ioan Hârlab. Lv Yu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Atarratze having to interfere. Chivos's Lindo Trabucco was substituted for Arsenio Garoa. FC Acatar's Lv Yu got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Wilfredo Cordara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diamantino Lobo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 80 minutes into the match, FC Acatar's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Cordara came free, but Diamantino Lobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Wilfredo Cordara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Lobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Cordara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Diamantino Lobo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ştefan Grama during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Acatar getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ştefan Grama hit a great ball.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chivos had won after a very even match.
