Spectators: 2411 (Terracing: 1809, Seating: 554, VIP seats: 48) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rafael van der Vaart got the match started through his kick off. Paunero's Albino Inguma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael van der Vaart in the 2nd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Rafael van der Vaart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paunero's Higinio Ticho shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Carlton Convine but with some difficulty. Jim Schmeltzer hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Francesco Cilli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlton Convine came out and tried to block the shot, but Francesco Cilli slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. Albino Inguma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael van der Vaart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Glasston's Eddy Watts in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paunero's goalie prevented a goal. After 28 minutes, Eddy Watts made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Paunero's Albino Inguma tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Glasston's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Ederono came free, but Carlton Convine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael van der Vaart in the 37th minute of play forced Paunero's goalkeeper Albino Inguma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Ata Cante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute Mete Golob shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Inguma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute of the match, Aristide Iureș tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carlton Convine saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

Carlton Convine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco Cilli in the 53rd minute of play. Rafael van der Vaart received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Albino Inguma came out and tried to block the shot, but Rafael van der Vaart slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 61st minute. Bengt-Rune Rolfsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Albino Inguma made a huge save. Albino Inguma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddy Watts in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute Rafael van der Vaart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Inguma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael van der Vaart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael van der Vaart got free with Albino Inguma in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albino Inguma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Watts in the 77th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Paunero's goalkeeper Albino Inguma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael van der Vaart. When Aristide Iureș came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Paunero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristide Iureș couldn't finish the play.

Many of Glasston's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Glasston may have spent more time on the ball, but Paunero were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
