Clayton Gerada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gao Le Ang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Seraċini Għawdxin's Clayton Gerada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gao Le Ang in the 12th minute of play. With a little luck, O-TT-O's Alejo Patrido got control of the ball when Richard Pavia tried to sneak it across the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Seraċini Għawdxin's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Gilabert came free, but Clayton Gerada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Andrew Miggiani notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of O-TT-O's Alejo Patrido. Alejo Patrido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gao Le Ang in the 21st minute of play forced Seraċini Għawdxin's goalkeeper Clayton Gerada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Alejo Patrido successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Clayton Gerada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Marcico in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Gao Le Ang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clayton Gerada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute Antoine Bugelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Patrido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoine Bugelli in the 28th minute of play forced O-TT-O's goalkeeper Alejo Patrido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game was made by Neil Fenech with Giorgio Laferla as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Gao Le Ang might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clayton Gerada. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gao Le Ang ran back to his position shaking his head. Clayton Gerada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gao Le Ang in the 38th minute of play. Alejo Patrido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoine Bugelli in the 39th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Omar Thamac put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, O-TT-O's Amado Gilabert got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Robert Seychell had several of the O-TT-O's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 47 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Alejo Patrido as he didn't even see the shot coming. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrew Miggiani to make the kick off. O-TT-O's Alejo Patrido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Miggiani in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Seraċini Għawdxin's zone, Gao Le Ang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clayton Gerada came out of the goal and Gao Le Ang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gao Le Ang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gao Le Ang got free with Clayton Gerada in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Pavia in the 59th minute of play forced O-TT-O's goalkeeper Alejo Patrido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clayton Gerada made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Gao Le Ang sent off a good shot on target. Gao Le Ang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clayton Gerada having to make a save. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Seraċini Għawdxin! O-TT-O's Augustus Ingersholm was substituted for Gao Le Ang. Augustus Ingersholm came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Clayton Gerada could save by the left post. After 81 minutes Seraċini Għawdxin's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nikki Vesternæs who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on O-TT-O's corner Kristian Nyström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Clayton Gerada quite easily take care of the ball. In the 86th minute, Andrew Miggiani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alejo Patrido was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. If Augustus Ingersholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Augustus Ingersholm came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Clayton Gerada could save by the left post. Clayton Gerada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augustus Ingersholm in the 92nd minute. Clayton Gerada was a little too slow when Augustus Ingersholm got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 3-2.

The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. O-TT-O's Augustus Ingersholm started the play with his kick off. Amado Gilabert kicked well hit freekick during the 123rd minute of the match. Clayton Gerada came out of the goal in the 124th minute to try and stop a shot by O-TT-O's Augustus Ingersholm. But to his dismay, Augustus Ingersholm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4.
