After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Campus Douro Academy! In the 14th minute, Dimos Violopoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trifillia.FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 23 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's goalkeeper Giorgos Kavouras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedito Figueiras. Giorgos Kavouras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Henriques in the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Trifillia.FC's zone, André Castilho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giorgos Kavouras came out of the goal and André Castilho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Graciano Flores who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trifillia.FC's Giorgos Kavouras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Trifillia.FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Graciano Flores 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. With a little luck, Trifillia.FC's Giorgos Kavouras got control of the ball when Benedito Figueiras tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benedito Figueiras scored 3-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giorgos Kavouras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the game, Graciano Flores cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Giorgos Kavouras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benedito Figueiras took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giorgos Kavouras. Giorgos Kavouras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Giorgos Kavouras was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but André Castilho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-1 in the 47 minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Graciano Flores was the one to do the kick off. Giorgos Kavouras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Castilho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graciano Flores in the 59th minute of play forced Trifillia.FC's goalkeeper Giorgos Kavouras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Benedito Figueiras notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Trifillia.FC's Giorgos Kavouras. Giorgos Kavouras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 64th match minute, Trifillia.FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christos Kareklidis to maneuver through the defense. Giorgos Kavouras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martinho Falcão in the 69th minute of play. Trifillia.FC's Dimos Violopoulos took a good shot, in the 75th minute, which hit the crossbar above Carlos Coelho's head, and flew over the goal. Campus Douro Academy's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Trifillia.FC. In the 76th minute André Castilho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Kavouras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giorgos Kavouras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Castilho, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Periklis Dentsas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Periklis Dentsas hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that André Castilho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giorgos Kavouras was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. After 86 minutes, André Castilho made it 8-1 with a short kick to the right side. Trifillia.FC's Giorgos Kavouras tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Campus Douro Academy players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
