The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aníbal Aguacero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Virgil Panciu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After a rather tough play, Sporting Royal's Corneliu Voican got a free kick in the 91st minute. Filomeno Tolhauzsen's late challenge caught a Sporting Royal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filomeno Tolhauzsen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Costa Pacífico FC's Filomeno Tolhauzsen got a free kick in the 95th minute. If Virgil Panciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Sporting Royal's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
