Spectators: 5092 (Terracing: 3820, Seating: 1171, VIP seats: 101) 5 minutes into the match, ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Mirande came free, but Baldomero Beturian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Samuel Laurentzi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Baldomero Beturian quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With an all-out effort, Hermosillo FC's Baldomero Beturian threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Conrado Mirande, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Simon Atarratze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel Evarado came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's Simon Atarratze. But to his dismay, Simon Atarratze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Samuel Evarado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Atarratze in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's Simon Atarratze sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Evarado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Baldomero Beturian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato Adrio in the 18th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 26 minutes into the game, when Adrian Tome put in a rough tackle. 26 minutes into the game, one of ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Baldomero Beturian had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Flavio Locaio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's Kolos Barco got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute of the match Flavio Locaio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baldomero Beturian skillfully saved the ball. ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's Flávio Azzaro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gerardo Salomone, made in the 32nd minute of the game. 33 minutes into the game, Gerardo Salomone threw the ball into play from the sideline. ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's Flávio Azzaro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 34 minutes into the match, Hermosillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Atarratze came free, but Samuel Evarado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Locaio got free with Baldomero Beturian in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Alejandro Cisco fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's protests and gave Alejandro Cisco a yellow card for diving instead. Alejandro Cisco hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Atarratze in the 39th minute of play forced Hermosillo FC's goalkeeper Samuel Evarado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Hermosillo FC's Baldomero Beturian threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Flavio Locaio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 44 minutes in the game, Flavio Locaio dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 46th minute Simon Atarratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Evarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavio Locaio to strike the kick off in the second half. Simon Atarratze struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Samuel Evarado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ. Hermosillo FC's Flavio Locaio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Baldomero Beturian in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Baldomero Beturian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Laurentzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Baldomero Beturian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Locaio in the 65th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simon Atarratze in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Evarado saved Hermosillo FC from getting behind. In the 68thth minute of the game Simon Atarratze who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hermosillo FC's Samuel Evarado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Simon Atarratze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Evarado was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. 70 minutes into the match, Flavio Locaio notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's Baldomero Beturian. Baldomero Beturian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Samuel Evarado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Atarratze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juanito Šnajder was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hermosillo FC! Simon Atarratze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Samuel Evarado made a huge save.

The ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
