Bai Le Zheng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yoppie Duaramuri went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Aureliano Vimaro kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rio Percy's zone, Yoppie Duaramuri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bai Le Zheng came out of the goal and Yoppie Duaramuri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Bandung Tigers booed when Rio Percy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Astrada didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th match minute, Bandung Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gendo Matulessy to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Bandung Tigers's goalkeeper Hatta Arnawa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nunez Bastiaro. In the 20th minute, Pera Wan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A long shot from Nunez Bastiaro in the 21st minute of play was well struck, but Hatta Arnawa made a really good save at the right post. Bai Le Zheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yoppie Duaramuri in the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rio Percy's Octavio Astrada got a free kick in the 25th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Bandung Tigers's Yoppie Duaramuri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bai Le Zheng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Yoppie Duaramuri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bai Le Zheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yoppie Duaramuri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nunez Bastiaro got free with Hatta Arnawa in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rio Percy's Andres Azubeli got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Rio Percy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bandung Tigers were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Nunez Bastiaro made the kick off in the second half. Bandung Tigers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kiki Murtopo in the 52nd minute. Hatta Arnawa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Geofredo in the 55th minute of play. Yoppie Duaramuri might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bai Le Zheng. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yoppie Duaramuri ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Yoppie Duaramuri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bandung Tigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Yoppie Duaramuri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bai Le Zheng breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the match, Yoppie Duaramuri dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bai Le Zheng, 0-2. After having played for 79 minutes, Nunez Bastiaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rio Percy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nunez Bastiaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rio Percy's Bai Le Zheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yoppie Duaramuri in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Octavio Astrada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Bandung Tigers's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
