Alvaro Rudolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Paraíba in the 15th minute of the match. Thiago Machado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmundo de Toledo having to make a save. In the 21st minute, Marquez Padolles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmundo de Toledo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Alvaro Rudolfo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Coritiba Foot Ball Club from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Alvaro Rudolfo got control of the ball when Sandrinho Massa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Buritama Sports's 孔翔沙 was substituted for Sandrinho Massa. 71 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Marquez Padolles came free, but Edmundo de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Rudolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Ove Gustavsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Buritama Sports's Edmundo de Toledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Buritama Sports from getting a goal against them. Edmundo de Toledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Romero in the 88th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Coritiba Foot Ball Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
