In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Astral's goalkeeper Slawomir Cholewa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcial Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 16 minutes into the match, Astral's goalkeeper Slawomir Cholewa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcial Navarro. In the 17th minute, Arrecifes's Fabio Jago ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Slawomir Cholewa. Astral's Slawomir Cholewa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Astral from getting a goal against them. Slawomir Cholewa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Navarro in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Teofil Tyskie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Uriel Berto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35thth minute of the game Marcial Navarro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astral's Slawomir Cholewa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute, Teofil Tyskie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uriel Berto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcial Navarro in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Slawomir Cholewa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Arrecifes booed when Astral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zdzislaw Pankiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute Eriberto Lizardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slawomir Cholewa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 54thth minute of the game Marcial Navarro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astral's Slawomir Cholewa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Damaso Rolado hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Emmanuel in the 87th minute of play forced Astral's goalkeeper Slawomir Cholewa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Igor Emmanuel put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Slawomir Cholewa. In the 94th minute Igor Emmanuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slawomir Cholewa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Astral had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
