The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Szentgotthárd fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Szentgotthárd's Zakariás Tótfalusi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, All Stars Gent's Jarne Uytdebroeck got control of the ball when Pancho Puskás tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 10 minutes, Alex Kocsis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Szentgotthárd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Kocsis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dirk-Jan Van Meenen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ákos Sugár tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ákos Sugár showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dirk-Jan Van Meenen in the 17th minute of the match. Paulus Everaerts kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Lóránt Fazekas fired a really elegant long shot, but Jarne Uytdebroeck threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nel Nelleboedske in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ákos Sugár prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the match, All Stars Gent's goal looked a bit too open when Mátyás Kálmán came free, but Jarne Uytdebroeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Szentgotthárd getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Gábor Matolcsy hit a great ball. In the 31st minute of the match Joe Marrant sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ákos Sugár skillfully saved the ball. In the 36th minute, All Stars Gent's Paulus Everaerts seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Paulus Everaerts the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of All Stars Gent protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Paulus Everaerts had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 37th match minute, All Stars Gent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulus Everaerts to maneuver through the defense. Lóránt Fazekas struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Jarne Uytdebroeck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Szentgotthárd. A hard shot 39 in the game by Pancho Puskás from a close distance when the talented Jarne Uytdebroeck managed to make a qualified save. All Stars Gent's players were relieved. Ákos Sugár showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Vervaet in the 41st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Nel Nelleboedske's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ákos Sugár was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Jarne Uytdebroeck made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Zakariás Tótfalusi sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Gery Latomme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 52 played minutes Szentgotthárd got a freekick which was hit by Mátyás Kálmán. Nel Nelleboedske hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Nel Nelleboedskes short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Ákos Sugár to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Pancho Puskás sped through All Stars Gent's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jarne Uytdebroeck. Mathijs de Pelsmaecker hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Jarne Uytdebroeck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zakariás Tótfalusi went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Jarne Uytdebroeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pancho Puskás in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nel Nelleboedske in the 83rd minute of play forced Szentgotthárd's goalkeeper Ákos Sugár to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Szentgotthárd's Ákos Sugár got control of the ball when Nel Nelleboedske tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nel Nelleboedske in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ákos Sugár saved Szentgotthárd from getting behind. Henrik Vervaet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ákos Sugár having to make a save. In the 94th minute, Nel Nelleboedske hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, All Stars Gent's Henrik Vervaet got a free kick in the 95th minute.

There was no doubt that Szentgotthárd were the better team. Szentgotthárd's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
