Leonard Chirculescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomero Ugaitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Leonard Chirculescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldomero Ugaitz. Real Còrdoba FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonard Chirculescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 9th minute, Irinel Grozuță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Real Còrdoba FC's Martin Jerold tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Baldomero Ugaitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonard Chirculescu's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. When Leonard Chirculescu came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Paralia Athens fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Chirculescu couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, Real Còrdoba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Chirculescu came free, but Baldomero Ugaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodor Romeo made a great header on Paralia Athens's corner, it was just that Real Còrdoba FC's Baldomero Ugaitz managed to reach the ball for a save. Fernando Abascal kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When Leonard Chirculescu came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Paralia Athens fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Chirculescu couldn't finish the play. Baldomero Ugaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Chirculescu in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Chirculescu in the 36th minute of play forced Real Còrdoba FC's goalkeeper Baldomero Ugaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Real Còrdoba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Chirculescu came free, but Baldomero Ugaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paralia Athens's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teodor Romeo in the 39th minute. A nice corner shot did that Teodor Romeo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Baldomero Ugaitz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Vinicio Dayam fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Còrdoba FC's protests and gave Vinicio Dayam a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Real Còrdoba FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Vinicio Dayam hit a great ball. After the first half Paralia Athens were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Nils-Emil Vallgren made the kick off in the second half. Doru Apostu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Emil Vallgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Mircea Robu came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Paralia Athens fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mircea Robu couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd match minute, Real Còrdoba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Dayam to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th play minute Leonard Chirculescu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Baldomero Ugaitz. 0-3. After a rather tough play, Real Còrdoba FC's Lisandro Rolado got a free kick in the 72nd minute. With his leg Baldomero Ugaitz managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Paralia Athens's Leonard Chirculescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mikel Arteta kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Baldomero Ugaitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonard Chirculescu went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Real Còrdoba FC's Baldomero Ugaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Chirculescu in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Fernando Abascal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Leonard Chirculescu notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Real Còrdoba FC's Baldomero Ugaitz. Baldomero Ugaitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonard Chirculescu struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Baldomero Ugaitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paralia Athens.

The Paralia Athens players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
