A nice corner shot did that Kiko de Queirós got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ed Ingram quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gez Wendon made in the 31st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Noel Saville immediately put the ball in play. Stuart Brayson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 39th minute. Gone With the Win's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
