Orlan Verdaguer didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tartalo Rajoi in the 25th minute of play forced Los once leones Ourense's goalkeeper Lancelot Sauca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Mino Borrás was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Ourense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los once leones Ourense the free kick. Jerrold Valcarcel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermenegildo Maldonado in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 67th minute Hermenegildo Maldonado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerrold Valcarcel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lazaro Armada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jerrold Valcarcel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Atlético Ourense's goalkeeper Jerrold Valcarcel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lazaro Armada. After a rather tough play, Atlético Ourense's Indartsu Sarro got a free kick in the 77th minute. Unai Calatayud took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lancelot Sauca. Lancelot Sauca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. A collision led to Atlético Ourense getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Fabio Delgado hit a great ball. If Eleazar Cacheres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerrold Valcarcel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lazaro Armada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofilo March hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
Atlético Ourense's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
