The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Krum Nikolchov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Lokomotiv Plovdiv from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute Sven Brask shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunvald Glarkrog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Krum Nikolchov managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Strib Galacticos IF's Andres Oper fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Zhao Xiong Han scored to the left of an out of position Krum Nikolchov, making the score, 1-0. When Andres Oper came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Strib Galacticos IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Oper couldn't finish the play. Andres Oper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Krum Nikolchov made a huge save. 27 minutes into the game, Andres Oper cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Krum Nikolchov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eske Aggervild hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Gunvald Glarkrog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slavey Lesov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Krum Nikolchov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Oper in the 36th minute of the match. Strib Galacticos IF's Eske Aggervild managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Witomir Orszak in the 37 minute of the game. After 46 played minutes Strib Galacticos IF got a freekick which was hit by Eske Aggervild. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andres Oper was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Strib Galacticos IF's Zhao Xiong Han made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Krum Nikolchov was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Oper in the 56th minute of play forced Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goalkeeper Krum Nikolchov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Andres Oper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krum Nikolchov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Krum Nikolchov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Oper, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres Oper in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Krum Nikolchov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lokomotiv Plovdiv made a substitution. Yulian Seferinov replaced Lin Feng Xi. Talal Oussalah hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 70 played minutes, Strib Galacticos IF's Davide Ubriaco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Krum Nikolchov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Strib Galacticos IF reached it. When Timo Rokmann fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Strib Galacticos IF's protests and gave Timo Rokmann a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lokomotiv Plovdiv booed when Strib Galacticos IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timo Rokmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Strib Galacticos IF's Hagbard Ribov was substituted for Andres Oper. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Facundo Nazario was substituted for Zdzislaw Obuchowicz. Strib Galacticos IF's Romeo Strobel was substituted for Sonni Engklint. Yulian Seferinov hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Krum Nikolchov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hagbard Ribov in the 81st minute of play. In the 84thth minute of the game Hagbard Ribov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Krum Nikolchov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Strib Galacticos IF's Davide Ubriaco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Krum Nikolchov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gunvald Glarkrog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Nazario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Nazario in the 87th minute of play forced Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Gunvald Glarkrog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bo Mcquoid charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bo Mcquoid the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Strib Galacticos IF getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Bo Mcquoid hit a great ball.
When the referee blew the final whistle, Strib Galacticos IF could leave the field as winners, despite Lokomotiv Plovdiv having more of the ball for most of the match.
