Carno FK's Güvenç Aksel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Bucher in the 19th minute of play. Matthias Meliti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolunay Tandan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mathias Bucher charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mathias Bucher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mathias Bucher kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Menderes Mertoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Meliti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's goal looked a bit too open when Alişan Suer came free, but Matthias Meliti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matthias Meliti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tolunay Tandan went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Alişan Suer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernst Cakir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Menderes Mertoğlu came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Matthias Meliti could save by the left post. In the 57th minute Tolunay Tandan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Meliti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Damian Brändle came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Brändle couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute, Menderes Mertoğlu made a precise shot to the right of Matthias Meliti. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 74th minute, Tolunay Tandan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Matthias Meliti. The goal made the score 0-4. Matthias Meliti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebati Ergün in the 82nd minute of the match. If Menderes Mertoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Matthias Meliti had great luck who in the 83rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Tolunay Tandan from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Matthias Meliti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolunay Tandan in the 85th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Sebastian Casutt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Carno FK booed when ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernd Heid didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matthias Meliti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Menderes Mertoğlu in the 96th minute.

When the final whistle sounded Carno FK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ.
