Josh Ellul's late challenge caught a THE CLUB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Josh Ellul helped the player get up and apologised. Josh Ellul hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Svetozar Popchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steve Rizzo having to interfere. Steve Rizzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slavcho Mandzhukov, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Mark De Battista charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mark De Battista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute, Slavcho Mandzhukov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The THE CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Svetozar Mavrodiev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Steve Rizzo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Steve Rizzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slavcho Mandzhukov, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. A collision led to THE CLUB getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ilko Madzhov hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Ganyo Semerdzhiev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clayton Vella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danail Mladzhov having to interfere. Steve Rizzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ganyo Semerdzhiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clayton Vella was the one to do the kick off. In the 63rd minute Ganyo Semerdzhiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve Rizzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steve Rizzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Svetozar Popchev in the 64th minute. Danail Mladzhov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josh Ellul in the 66th minute of play. Svetozar Popchev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danail Mladzhov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Manicolo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 84 played minutes THE CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Teodosi Baydanov. In the 84th minute, Edward Gruppetta sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and THE CLUB's Danail Mladzhov didn't even have to move. In the 92nd minute, Venko Dushev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timothy Cini kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
