All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Schaffert in the 84th minute of play forced Kukova United's goalkeeper Stano Cisár to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute of the match, Noel Schaffert tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stano Cisár saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 93rd minute Móric Rataj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Wieberneit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Academica Pulheim's zone, Andrej Čistý stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dariusz Wieberneit came out of the goal and Andrej Čistý tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 99 minutes into the match, Kukova United's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Schaffert came free, but Stano Cisár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.
Stano Cisár showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Paziorek, who was totally free with the ball in the 111th minute. Stano Cisár didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michael Paziorek went, in the 113th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.
