The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Silvio Cordairo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Orkatz in the 3rd minute of the match. When Carolo Abarca fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pilar FC's protests and gave Carolo Abarca a yellow card for diving instead. Carolo Abarca hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Silvio Cordairo made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Marco Bixintxo sent off a good shot on target. In the 5th minute, Monte Hermoso Beach's Marco Bixintxo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Miguel Joseph dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Silvio Cordairo, 2-0. In the 12th minute Miguel Joseph shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Cordairo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fidel Lorien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Gregory, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Silvio Cordairo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Orkatz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute Justino Eron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Lorien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fidel Lorien made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justino Eron in the 78th minute. Justino Eron took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fidel Lorien. Fidel Lorien dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Pilar FC's Silvio Cordairo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Demario in the 85th minute of play. Monte Hermoso Beach's Fidel Lorien proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Monte Hermoso Beach from getting a goal against them. Nicolas Gregory hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Neither Monte Hermoso Beach or Pilar FC succeeded in finding a winner during the second half. That meant the players faced another 30 minutes of extra-time.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. Pilar FC's Nicolas Gregory started the play with the initial kick off. A collision led to Monte Hermoso Beach getting a freekick after 101 minutes play. Erasmo Rodriguez hit a great ball. Monte Hermoso Beach's Fidel Lorien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Gregory in the 103rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Millan in the 104th minute of play forced Monte Hermoso Beach's goalkeeper Fidel Lorien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Lorien stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Millan's shot from short distance in the 106th minute. If Nicolas Gregory had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 109th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Monte Hermoso Beach getting a freekick after 112 minutes play. Honorio Arias hit a great ball. Eriberto Lesardo kicked well hit freekick during the 114th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Arotza got free with Silvio Cordairo in the 116th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvio Cordairo was a little too slow when Anastasio Enol got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 116th minute. The score was now 3-2. Monte Hermoso Beach's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
