Marquês de Herval's Juarês de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doru Popoiu in the 10th minute of play. Marin Claudiescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Juarês de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantin Aluneanu having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Doru Popoiu made a precise shot to the right of Juarês de Amaral. Marquês de Herval's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With a little luck, Marquês de Herval's Juarês de Amaral got control of the ball when Ion Oloieru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manole Firu's late challenge caught a Marquês de Herval's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manole Firu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, Fc S.Zaharesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manole Firu to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Dráusio Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juarês de Amaral was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Liviu Săvescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Liviu Săvescu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. A collision led to Marquês de Herval getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Matheus Soeiro hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Marquês de Herval's zone, Liviu Săvescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juarês de Amaral came out of the goal and Liviu Săvescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ion Oloieru to make the kick off. Marquês de Herval's Juarês de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ion Oloieru in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Fc S.Zaharesti getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Liviu Săvescu hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Simões got free with Constantin Aluneanu in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcus Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantin Aluneanu having to interfere. The supporters of Fc S.Zaharesti booed when Marquês de Herval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Marquês de Herval's zone, Liviu Săvescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juarês de Amaral came out of the goal and Liviu Săvescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ion Oloieru in the 74th minute of play forced Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Juarês de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doru Popoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Virgílio Donatello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marquês de Herval's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgílio Donatello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Manole Aanicăi fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc S.Zaharesti's protests and gave Manole Aanicăi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fc S.Zaharesti getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Manole Aanicăi hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Marcus Simões had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Constantin Aluneanu. Fc S.Zaharesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcus Simões was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 94th minute, Ion Oloieru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Constantin Aluneanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Simões in the 95th minute.

It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fc S.Zaharesti had played much better football throughout.
