Prudencio Otsoko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Fertus in the 7th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Gimenez. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Eulalio Lauaxeta got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 11 minutes, Eriberto Fertus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viento Norte FC and the Formentera players grew even worse after the yellow card. Santiago Maurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Tomás Quintun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute of the match Rolando Ado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomás Quintun skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Frisco in the 26th minute of play forced Viento Norte FC's goalkeeper Tomás Quintun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Feliberto Elodio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Prudencio Otsoko, 1-2. Eusebio Jobo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Prudencio Otsoko made a huge save. Tomás Quintun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Lesardo in the 34th minute of the match. Tomás Quintun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Maurin in the 35th minute of play. Tomás Quintun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Lesardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Santiago Maurin scored 1-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomás Quintun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Formentera's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Frisco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Quintun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Prudencio Otsoko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Elodio, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Mario Frisco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Quintun having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Isaias Lesardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Quintun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaias Lesardo had several of the Viento Norte FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-6 score and a disappointed Tomás Quintun as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaias Lesardo got free with Tomás Quintun in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomás Quintun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Lesardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Formentera's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
