Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Joey Molina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Nuxila in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Eliu in the 8th minute of play forced Orihuela Club de Fútbol's goalkeeper Joey Molina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Carlomagno Buenafuente in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 48th minute Mariano Eliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joey Molina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Mariano Eliu made the kick off in the second half. Joey Molina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Nuxila in the 54th minute of play. Melquiades Silban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlomagno Buenafuente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romo Briso kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Godofredo Iago kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Xacobo Aguilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlomagno Buenafuente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Melquiades Silban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Metapalo FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Mario Pueblo hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Xacobo Aguilo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melquiades Silban. Metapalo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xacobo Aguilo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 82 minutes, Romo Briso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orihuela Club de Fútbol and the Metapalo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Orihuela Club de Fútbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romo Briso to maneuver through the defense. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Joey Molina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Orihuela Club de Fútbol from getting a goal against them. Joey Molina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Garcia in the 90th minute. In the 94th minute of the match, Isidoro Garcia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joey Molina was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

When the final whistle sounded Metapalo FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Orihuela Club de Fútbol.
