With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orval Crow in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elder da Silva saved Goianésia E.C from getting behind. In the 54th match minute, Flames FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berry Corley to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Elder da Silva successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jerrod Staples showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Lacerda in the 61st minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Orval Crow notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Goianésia E.C's Elder da Silva. Elder da Silva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Flames FC's Geraldo Gagnon was substituted for Rusty Blalock. Flames FC's Kent Chesnay was substituted for Chase Hale. Goianésia E.C's Elder da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kermit Morris in the 74th minute of play. Matt Stokes might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elder da Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matt Stokes ran back to his position shaking his head. When Igor Lacerda fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
