Nilton Sena made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Erenay Özdoruk sent off a good shot on target. Nilton Sena was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kemal Özdilek. After 23 minutes, Walmir Mangueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chester Bennington and the 1903 Barranspor ☪ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of 1903 Barranspor ☪ booed when Chester Bennington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes Chester Bennington got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Veiga. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Yavuz Selimhan Yaren took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Nilton Sena to make any attempt to save it. Yavuz Selim Oğurata didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nestor Vinhas went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Yavuz Selim Oğurata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Luiz Fábio Tepedino took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yavuz Selim Oğurata. Yavuz Selim Oğurata dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 37 minutes into the game, Nestor Vinhas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chester Bennington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1903 Barranspor ☪ the free kick. After 37 played minutes Chester Bennington got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Vinhas. In the 38th minute of the match Nebi Özakay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nilton Sena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to 1903 Barranspor ☪ getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ali Cengiz Budaklı hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the game, Luiz Fábio Tepedino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Yavuz Selim Oğurata was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Chester Bennington were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Reinaldo Veiga succeeded in the game's 57th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-6. 1903 Barranspor ☪'s Yavuz Selim Oğurata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save 1903 Barranspor ☪ from getting a goal against them. Luiz Fábio Tepedino was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. But to his dismay, Bircan Toktaş quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. Yavuz Selim Oğurata was a little too slow when Nestor Vinhas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 2-8. 1903 Barranspor ☪'s Yavuz Selim Oğurata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Vinhas in the 96th minute of play.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chester Bennington had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
