Gustavo Barral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustavo Barral was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Renan Quirino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Renan Quirino really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, SinháCity FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Barral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renan Quirino. With his leg Gustavo Barral managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Lupere FC - DMZ's Renan Quirino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lupere FC - DMZ's Renan Quirino got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SinháCity FC's Hélio Guerra got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Gustavo Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renan Quirino in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Lupere FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renan Quirino to maneuver through the defense. After 27 minutes, Sérgio Moura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SinháCity FC and the Lupere FC - DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lupere FC - DMZ booed when SinháCity FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renan Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Barral acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Renan Quirino. After 35 minutes, Renan Quirino made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. SinháCity FC's Gustavo Barral tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute, one of SinháCity FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SinháCity FC. Juarês Bastos scored 4-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Barral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor Messias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gustavo Barral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renan Quirino's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. When Renan Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Lupere FC - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renan Quirino couldn't finish the play. After 56 minutes of play, Lupere FC - DMZ's Renan Quirino made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Barral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lupere FC - DMZ's attentive Cristóvão Alves managed to snatch the ball when Horácio Antunes made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, SinháCity FC's Nando Baptista got a free kick in the 67th minute. Gustavo Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renan Quirino in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Lupere FC - DMZ's Juarês Bastos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustavo Barral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Gustavo Barral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renan Quirino's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, Lupere FC - DMZ's Valdo Mazza got a free kick in the 85th minute. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Renan Quirino sped through SinháCity FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gustavo Barral. The referee felt a red card was in order, 93 minutes into the game, when Giovanni Rocha put in a rough tackle. In the 93rd minute, one of SinháCity FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SinháCity FC. SinháCity FC:s Gustavo Barral showed great skill when he stopped Renan Quirino:s penalty.

When the referee ended the match the Lupere FC - DMZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
