In the 9th match minute, Winthont FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niels Schirring to maneuver through the defense. Frank Fredriksson took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fokke Bergman. Fokke Bergman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Södertälje's goalkeeper Wiktor Söderqwist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Ronaldo De Lima reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fokke Bergman. The goal made the score 2-0. Fokke Henselmans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Oskar Klint in the 21st minute of play forced Winthont FC's goalkeeper Fokke Bergman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wiktor Söderqwist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fokke Henselmans in the 24th minute of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Eelco Neijsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winthont FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eelco Neijsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Real Södertälje made a substitution. Jens-Åke Hellbom replaced Zaaki Ibrahimović. 59 minutes into the match, Fokke Henselmans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wiktor Söderqwist. Real Södertälje's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fokke Henselmans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The Winthont FC fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Winthont FC's Eelco Neijsen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wiktor Söderqwist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 85th minute Edwin Siggman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fokke Bergman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Winthont FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
