A collision led to CD SHETTANI getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Alexis Matarrita hit a great ball. Marco Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Carballo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enio Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Botafogo MZRJ's Renan Santana got a free kick in the 18th minute. Greivin Camacho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo de Amorim in the 22nd minute of play. Greivin Camacho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodriguinho Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Greivin Camacho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodriguinho Viana in the 29th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, CD SHETTANI's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo de Amorim came free, but Greivin Camacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37thth minute of the game Rodriguinho Viana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD SHETTANI's Greivin Camacho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Fabio Osorio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD SHETTANI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Botafogo MZRJ the free kick. Fabio Osorio hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The supporters of Botafogo MZRJ booed when CD SHETTANI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonny Elizondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. CD SHETTANI's Greivin Camacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodriguinho Viana in the 41st minute of play. Paulo de Amorim's late challenge caught a CD SHETTANI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo de Amorim helped the player get up and apologised. CD SHETTANI's Greivin Camacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodriguinho Viana in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Jonny Carballo could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Marco Ramos however easily saved by the left post. After 60 minutes of play, CD SHETTANI's Miguel Gomez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Ramos was left in no man's land by his defense there! CD SHETTANI made a substitution. Alonzo Chavarria replaced Miguel Gomez. CD SHETTANI's Greivin Camacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodriguinho Viana in the 70th minute of play. Rodriguinho Viana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Greivin Camacho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Botafogo MZRJ's attentive Doni Gonçalves managed to snatch the ball when Otton Guevara made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. Jonny Carballo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marco Ramos came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonny Carballo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo de Amorim in the 82nd minute of play forced CD SHETTANI's goalkeeper Greivin Camacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CD SHETTANI's Greivin Camacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enio Abreu in the 86th minute of play.

The CD SHETTANI supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CD SHETTANI would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
