After a rather tough play, Aversa's Anthony Muzzolon got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Behçet Canol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Dave Bassani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Çağrı Aktemur was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th match minute, Futbol Sevenler Kulübü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Çağrı Aktemur to maneuver through the defense. Arrigo De Simone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Aversa's zone, Behçet Canol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dave Bassani came out of the goal and Behçet Canol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Carrea came free, but Olcay Orkun Gümüş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olcay Orkun Gümüş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Di Santo in the 21st minute of the match. Dave Bassani made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Doğaner Arslanoğlu sent off a good shot on target. Doğaner Arslanoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Bassani having to interfere. Aversa's Dave Bassani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Behçet Canol in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Bruno Carrea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olcay Orkun Gümüş. Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Carrea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doğaner Arslanoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, Camillo Bani notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Olcay Orkun Gümüş. Olcay Orkun Gümüş was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aversa's Dave Bassani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doğaner Arslanoğlu in the 54th minute of play. Olcay Orkun Gümüş made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Bruno Carrea sent off a good shot on target. Bruno Carrea did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Olcay Orkun Gümüş 57 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's goalkeeper Olcay Orkun Gümüş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessio Troiani. Dave Bassani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğaner Arslanoğlu in the 66th minute of play. Göksun Saip's late challenge caught a Aversa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Göksun Saip helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th match minute, Futbol Sevenler Kulübü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göksun Saip to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Alessio Troiani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute Doğaner Arslanoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Bassani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 played minutes Futbol Sevenler Kulübü got a freekick which was hit by Hurşit Taif. After 85 minutes Aversa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zekeriya Perva who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Zekeriya Perva got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dave Bassani quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dave Bassani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doğaner Arslanoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doğaner Arslanoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
