The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferenc Tököli got free with Niculae Ailenei in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 42 minutes into the match, Claudiu Răducanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kristóf Bakó. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudiu Răducanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferenc Tököli got free with Niculae Ailenei in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Kristóf Bakó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Răducanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Kristóf Bakó stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudiu Răducanu's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Claudiu Răducanu came free, but Kristóf Bakó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Ferenc Tököli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Romania had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
