Nae Griguță charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nae Griguță the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nae Griguță to maneuver through the defense. When Björn Michael came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the FC Angst vorm Ball fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Björn Michael couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Steaua Pildesti's Filip Paulescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jens Schrape. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Lucian Stere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jens Schrape tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens Schrape made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucian Stere in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Paulescu got free with Jens Schrape in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marian Văduvescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marko Köller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Angst vorm Ball's Jens Schrape proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save FC Angst vorm Ball from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute Zygmunt Dunajski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Schrape saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Lucian Stere could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Jens Schrape however easily saved by the left post. Jens Schrape made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolae Barbu in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Jens Schrape showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucian Stere in the 51st minute of the match. Jens Schrape showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucian Stere, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute Matthias Zahn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Văduvescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Angst vorm Ball's Jens Schrape played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucian Stere in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Marian Văduvescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Björn Michael. FC Steaua Pildesti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Björn Michael scored to the left of an out of position Marian Văduvescu, making the score, 1-1. Nicolae Barbu hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. FC Angst vorm Ball made a substitution. Jan-Hauke Lewe replaced Julius-Lasse Schwering. Marian Văduvescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Lucian Stere had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jens Schrape. FC Angst vorm Ball's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucian Stere was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Constantin Deșliu kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Marian Văduvescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Bachmayr, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Jens Schrape came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Steaua Pildesti's Filip Paulescu. But to his dismay, Filip Paulescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Joachim Krabbe managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Angst vorm Ball's supporters rose to their feet, but Joachim Krabbe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marian Văduvescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicolae Barbu might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jens Schrape. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolae Barbu ran back to his position shaking his head. Hartmut Hägele kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Steaua Pildesti booed when FC Angst vorm Ball was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Hauke Lewe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens Schrape made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Barbu in the 90th minute of play. Lucian Stere took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jens Schrape. Jens Schrape dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Angst vorm Ball players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Steaua Pildesti.
