Kim-André van der Schans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tedj Sellal, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. If Tedj Sellal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 4 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goal looked a bit too open when Tedj Sellal came free, but Kim-André van der Schans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Ahmed Toumi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kim-André van der Schans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tedj Sellal, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 13 minutes of play, MZ Country's Tedj Sellal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kim-André van der Schans was left in no man's land by his defense there! Switzerland's Kim-André van der Schans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walid Prévost in the 21st minute of play. MZ Country's Mebarek Mammeri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alain Berset in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Switzerland booed when MZ Country was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hemza Aliche didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ahmed Toumi fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MZ Country's protests and gave Ahmed Toumi a yellow card for diving instead. Ahmed Toumi hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in MZ Country's zone, Ingo Minder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mebarek Mammeri came out of the goal and Ingo Minder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Tedj Sellal made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the game, Howard Archambault was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Switzerland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MZ Country the free kick. In the 50th match minute, Switzerland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Howard Archambault to maneuver through the defense. Switzerland's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ingo Minder in the 55th minute. Kim-André van der Schans made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Safy Allalou sent off a good shot on target. Switzerland's Kim-André van der Schans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Switzerland from getting a goal against them. MZ Country's Mebarek Mammeri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neron Veterini in the 83rd minute of play. Neron Veterini took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mebarek Mammeri. Mebarek Mammeri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Switzerland's Neron Veterini in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MZ Country's goalie prevented a goal. In the 92nd minute, Neron Veterini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mebarek Mammeri was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Roman Koenig hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Switzerland had played much better football throughout.
