In the 3rd minute Robbie Waworuntu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Adelsköld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yayan Hutapea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anders Adelsköld having to make a save. After 7 played minutes Leno FC got a freekick which was hit by Jack Zander. Kjell-Arne Barck struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Ida Bagus Eibe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leno FC. In the 11thth minute of the game Sture Granberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matio FC's Ida Bagus Eibe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leno FC's Sture Granberg got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 19 minutes, Makbul Waroka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matio FC and the Leno FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Matio FC's Makbul Waroka got a free kick in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yayan Hutapea in the 23rd minute of play forced Leno FC's goalkeeper Anders Adelsköld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kjell-Arne Barck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yayan Hutapea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Adelsköld having to interfere. Kjell-Arne Barck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ida Bagus Eibe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Barck in the 44th minute of play. Makbul Waroka got his second yellow card in the match during the 47th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Matio FC's Makbul Waroka got a free kick in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The supporters of Matio FC booed when Leno FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Tönnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Aep Nainggolan hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. After 68 played minutes Matio FC got a freekick which was hit by Yayan Hutapea. Leno FC's Sture Granberg got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Matio FC's goalkeeper Ida Bagus Eibe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sture Granberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ida Bagus Eibe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ida Bagus Eibe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Barck in the 83rd minute of play. After 84 played minutes Matio FC got a freekick which was hit by Irfan Sumarwoto. A collision led to Leno FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Helge Tönnberg hit a great ball. After 91 minutes, Peter Söderström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leno FC and the Matio FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes Leno FC got a freekick which was hit by Peter Söderström. In the 94th minute Yayan Hutapea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Adelsköld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 97th minute by Daffa Tarmadi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
