The Matadores de Luro fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Matadores de Luro's Hilario Tabor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Benedicto Servando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matadores de Luro's Pastor Bazil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julião Albuquerque in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Matadores de Luro's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Pinhal came free, but Pastor Bazil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Matadores de Luro's Matias Baumer got a free kick in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Matadores de Luro's zone, Diogo Pinhal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pastor Bazil came out of the goal and Diogo Pinhal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidoro Regalado charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidoro Regalado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pastor Bazil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hamilton Quental in the 19th minute. Hilario Tabor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Cristiano Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Matadores de Luro booed when SC Reca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrício Azeredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casimiro Guillelme's late challenge caught a SC Reca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casimiro Guillelme helped the player get up and apologised. A sloppy throw-in by Kevin Montenegro in the 40th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Matadores de Luro's Matias Baumer. In the 42nd minute, Hilario Tabor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Benedicto Servando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diogo Pinhal was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Diogo Pinhal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matadores de Luro's Pastor Bazil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Pinhal in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Benedicto Servando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matadores de Luro's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Servando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Vargas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Benedicto Servando came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Matadores de Luro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Servando couldn't finish the play. Hilario Tabor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Pinhal in the 66th minute of play forced Matadores de Luro's goalkeeper Pastor Bazil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauricio Segio charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauricio Segio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute of the match Octávio Ferraz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pastor Bazil showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 71st minute, Jorge Poças left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Reca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 74th minute Benedicto Servando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedicto Servando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Vargas having to interfere. Cristiano Vargas made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Hilario Tabor sent off a good shot on target. Diogo Pinhal took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pastor Bazil. Pastor Bazil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Matadores de Luro's Pastor Bazil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Pinhal in the 88th minute of play. Hilario Tabor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Vargas having to interfere. SC Reca were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Matadores de Luro for a fine match.
