Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Morales AFC's Atilano Elizardo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match, Phùng Tuan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jeremias Heli was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 6 minutes into the match, Ninh Binh's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Elizardo came free, but Nguyễn Tan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phùng Tuan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Jeremias Heli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 8th minute, Filiberto Brun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute Blas Silvanito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Tan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Modesto Raymundo charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Modesto Raymundo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ninh Binh booed when Morales AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Raymundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ninh Binh's Phùng Tuan got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeremias Heli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lê Phu in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Filiberto Brun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nguyễn Tan. Ninh Binh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filiberto Brun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Blas Silvanito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Nguyễn Tan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, Ninh Binh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Văn Nguyet to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Blas Silvanito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nguyễn Tan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 39th minute, Phùng Tuan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ninh Binh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. A collision led to Ninh Binh getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Võ Tuan hit a great ball. Atilano Elizardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Nguyễn Tan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremias Heli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lê Phu's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lê Phu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lê Phu in the 51st minute of play forced Morales AFC's goalkeeper Jeremias Heli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 56 in the game by Atilano Elizardo from a close distance when the talented Nguyễn Tan managed to make a qualified save. Ninh Binh's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Ninh Binh's Phùng Tuan got a free kick in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Morales AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lê Phu came free, but Jeremias Heli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ninh Binh's zone, Eustacio Leguizamón stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nguyễn Tan came out of the goal and Eustacio Leguizamón tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 63 played minutes Ninh Binh got a freekick which was hit by Hoàng Tuan. Ninh Binh's Nguyễn Tan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Leguizamón in the 65th minute of play. Filiberto Brun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 minutes, Atilano Elizardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morales AFC and the Ninh Binh players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Morales AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Atilano Elizardo hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Filiberto Brun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nguyễn Tan. That made the score 1-4 in the 73 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Leguizamón in the 76th minute of play forced Ninh Binh's goalkeeper Nguyễn Tan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Lương Hoai notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Morales AFC's Jeremias Heli. Jeremias Heli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Blas Silvanito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, Morales AFC's Genaro Onbera got a free kick in the 86th minute. Morales AFC played a much better game than Ninh Binh and deserved their victory. The Ninh Binh players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
