After 27 played minutes Ninh Binh got a freekick which was hit by Trần Minh-ha. In the 28th minute Fabio Galoer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Tan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lê Phu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Luciano Aureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ninh Binh's Phùng Tuan got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luciano Aureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phùng Tuan in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Soñadores's goal looked a bit too open when Lê Phu came free, but Luciano Aureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Phùng Tuan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lê Phu was the one to do the kick off. Ninh Binh's Nguyễn Tan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Ramone in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Lương Hoai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lương Hoai charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lương Hoai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ninh Binh's Lương Hoai got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Fabio Galoer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soñadores fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Soñadores's Fabio Galoer got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Lê Phu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luciano Aureo was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Fabio Galoer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Tan having to interfere. After having played for 76 minutes, Lázaro Ramone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soñadores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Ramone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nguyễn Tan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Galoer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Soñadores's Lázaro Ramone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nguyễn Tan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lương Hoai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luciano Aureo having to make a save. Phùng Tuan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Luciano Aureo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Phùng Tuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute of the match Benito Lehen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nguyễn Tan skillfully saved the ball. In the 96th minute, Nguyễn Cong Vinh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Lehen, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
