Defensa y justicia:s Anier Paez showed great skill when he stopped Octávio Ferraz:s penalty. Anier Paez came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Reca's Octávio Ferraz. But to his dismay, Octávio Ferraz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Julião Albuquerque hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Diogo Pinhal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Anier Paez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julião Albuquerque got free with Anier Paez in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Basilio Ermano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristiano Vargas was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrício Azeredo during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cecilio Gonzalez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Vargas having to interfere. SC Reca's Jorge Poças got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Jorge Poças off the ground. After a rather tough play, SC Reca's Jorge Poças got a free kick in the 61st minute. SC Reca's Cristiano Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Ermano in the 63rd minute of play. Cristiano Vargas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Robustiano Pierres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Vargas having to interfere. After 88 minutes of play, SC Reca's Octávio Ferraz made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anier Paez was left in no man's land by his defense there! 91 minutes into the game, Basilio Ermano lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated Cristiano Vargas. Octávio Ferraz's late challenge caught a Defensa y justicia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octávio Ferraz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Octávio Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Defensa y justicia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
