Ümit Ülgenalp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Cristiano Vargas made a huge save. 4 minutes into the game, Atalan Uğurtan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Göle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Reca the free kick. In the 4th minute, Atalan Uğurtan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ümit Ülgenalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hıncal Develi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 14 minutes into the game, when Januário Cesário put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Reca fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! In the 16th minute, Göle got a penalty, and Mecnun Cevar placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Ümit Ülgenalp's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Cristiano Vargas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ümit Ülgenalp came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cristiano Vargas could save by the left post. After having played for 34 minutes, Hamilton Quental managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Reca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamilton Quental was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hamilton Quental hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Mecnun Cevar fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Göle's protests and gave Mecnun Cevar a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Hıncal Develi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Göle's supporters rose to their feet, but Hıncal Develi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Vargas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ümit Ülgenalp hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 47th match minute, Göle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Hakan Öğeturk to maneuver through the defense.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hamilton Quental made a kick off. When Hıncal Develi came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Göle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hıncal Develi couldn't finish the play. During the 53rd minute of the match Atalan Uğurtan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Atalan Uğurtan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 54th match minute, Göle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atalan Uğurtan to maneuver through the defense. Ümit Ülgenalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Göle's Abdulkadir Suavi got control of the ball when Hamilton Quental tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hamilton Quental got free with Abdulkadir Suavi in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hamilton Quental who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Abdulkadir Suavi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 67th minute, Ümit Ülgenalp made a precise shot to the right of Cristiano Vargas. SC Reca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Julião Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Ümit Ülgenalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julião Albuquerque in the 77th minute of play forced Göle's goalkeeper Abdulkadir Suavi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ümit Ülgenalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamilton Quental might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdulkadir Suavi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hamilton Quental ran back to his position shaking his head. After 83 played minutes SC Reca got a freekick which was hit by Idalécio Vilar. Ümit Ülgenalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Göle's goalkeeper Abdulkadir Suavi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamilton Quental. Göle's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
