Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Monitor Huáscar's Claudio Quiroga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute of the match, Klæmint Heri Dam tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Apostol Sokolov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Quiroga in the 10th minute of play forced U21 Faroe Islands's goalkeeper Jóhan Løkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monitor Huáscar's Jeffrey Van Craesbeeck managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ingi Thomassen in the 11 minute of the game. When Monitor Huáscar's Claudio Quiroga in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Faroe Islands's goalie prevented a goal. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for U21 Faroe Islands! Jóhan Løkin came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Monitor Huáscar's Claudio Quiroga. But to his dismay, Claudio Quiroga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Claudio Quiroga scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jóhan Løkin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jóhan Løkin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Quiroga's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Johnny Nyström kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Claudio Quiroga notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of U21 Faroe Islands's Jóhan Løkin. Jóhan Løkin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Monitor Huáscar's Apostol Sokolov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Monitor Huáscar from getting a goal against them. Claudio Quiroga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jóhan Løkin having to make a save. Jóhan Løkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Quiroga in the 38th minute of play. Hannis Johannesen hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Jóhan Løkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Quiroga in the 42nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Quiroga in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jóhan Løkin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The U21 Faroe Islands players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Monitor Huáscar were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnbjørn Olsen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnbjørn Olsen's late challenge caught a Monitor Huáscar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnbjørn Olsen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Monitor Huáscar's Claudio Quiroga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jóhan Løkin. Jóhan Løkin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Bernardinho Bala replaced Artemio Varas. After a rather tough play, U21 Faroe Islands's Hannis Johannesen got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 69th minute, Claudio Quiroga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jóhan Løkin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Claudio Quiroga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jóhan Løkin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Hannis Johannesen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U21 Faroe Islands's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monitor Huáscar the free kick. A collision led to U21 Faroe Islands getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Hannis Johannesen hit a great ball. Nazario Arechavala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. U21 Faroe Islands's Jóhan Løkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Quiroga in the 87th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Jóhan Løkin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the final whistle sounded Monitor Huáscar left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than U21 Faroe Islands.
