After a rather tough play, Abiogenesis's Manuel Maureo got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Dionisio Nikola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Abiogenesis's Dionisio Nikola dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 1-1 became the score in the 22nd minute when Humberto Haimar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A.A FÊNIX's Silvano Lohitzun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Nikola in the 27th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Ceferino Oihenarte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eriberto Theodore was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A collision led to A.A FÊNIX getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Humberto Haimar hit a great ball. Silvano Lohitzun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Dominic in the 41st minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Bartolo Dominic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of A.A FÊNIX booed when Abiogenesis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Maureo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eriberto Theodore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Oihenarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 51 minutes had been played when some careless play by Abiogenesis's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hilario Furtado was slow to take the kick. During this time A.A FÊNIX's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on A.A FÊNIX's corner Hilario Furtado fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eriberto Theodore quite easily take care of the ball. The Abiogenesis players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. A.A FÊNIX were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dionisio Nikola to make the kick off. Eriberto Sengrat struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Eriberto Theodore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.A FÊNIX. After 58 played minutes A.A FÊNIX got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Arias. Aristides Clodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ceferino Oihenarte's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Eriberto Theodore skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Arturo Harriet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of A.A FÊNIX booed when Abiogenesis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Itzaina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ceferino Oihenarte succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. After 78 minutes, Ceferino Oihenarte made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Abiogenesis's Eriberto Theodore tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Humberto Haimar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Eriberto Theodore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute Dionisio Nikola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Lohitzun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Abiogenesis's Delmiro Ortle got a free kick in the 87th minute. Dionisio Nikola hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. A.A FÊNIX walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
