Gil Massa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bemowo. Gil Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolek Solarek in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of FC Bemowo booed when Itapema was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Itapema getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Enéas Pirani hit a great ball. Tolek Solarek received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gil Massa came out and tried to block the shot, but Tolek Solarek slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 27th minute. In the 32nd minute, FC Bemowo's Tolek Solarek dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Napoleon Rakowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, Itapema was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Falcão do Vale to maneuver through the defense. Gil Massa was a little too slow when Tolek Solarek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tolek Bialakowski was the one to do the kick off. When FC Bemowo's Tolek Bialakowski in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itapema's goalie prevented a goal. Tolek Solarek scored 5-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gil Massa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Itapema getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Oswaldo Macedo hit a great ball. Tolek Bialakowski took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gil Massa. Gil Massa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. FC Bemowo's Herbert Kornasiewicz was substituted for Boleslaw Petka. Aureliusz Redisz hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karol Bucyki during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 75 minutes, Karol Swiderski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Bemowo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karol Swiderski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute, Oswaldo Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the game, FC Bemowo's Tolek Solarek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gil Massa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Itapema's Enéas Pirani got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gil Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Swiderski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Bemowo fully deserved thier win.
