After 9 played minutes Ciruel Academy got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Rodriguez. Pedro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Chale in the 13th minute of play. Ciruel Academy's José Puyol got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tio Cabezon got free with Hipolito Bizen in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Ciruel Academy's Jaba Li got a free kick in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Tio Cabezon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciruel Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Tio Cabezon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hipolito Bizen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Fabricio Chale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Tio Cabezon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hipolito Bizen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tio Cabezon was the one to do the kick off. Hipolito Bizen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tio Cabezon, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Hipolito Bizen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. José Puyol took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hipolito Bizen. Hipolito Bizen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Ciruel Academy made a substitution. Rufo Azofra replaced Rafael Villanueva. 64 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mandiyu's goal looked a bit too open when Estebano Vuelta came free, but Hipolito Bizen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Ciruel Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Nuno came free, but Pedro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hipolito Bizen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paşa Bolas in the 71st minute of play. Ciruel Academy's Perico Rojas was substituted for Cebrián Fonticoba. Deportivo Mandiyu's Laureano Eladio was substituted for Silvano Ongile. Ciruel Academy's Bartolomé Sabina was substituted for Tio Cabezon. 81 minutes into the match, Bartolomé Sabina notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Deportivo Mandiyu's Hipolito Bizen. Hipolito Bizen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hipolito Bizen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Estebano Vuelta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Estebano Vuelta notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Deportivo Mandiyu's Hipolito Bizen. Hipolito Bizen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. José Puyol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Estebano Vuelta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hipolito Bizen was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. When Rufo Azofra came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Ciruel Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rufo Azofra couldn't finish the play. If José Puyol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, one of Deportivo Mandiyu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deportivo Mandiyu. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Ciruel Academy. José Puyol stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hipolito Bizen. 7-1.
