After 13 minutes of play, LiBeRiA F.C.'s Mauro Abajas made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Novais was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hernan Silbestre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heitor Boal in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Young Angola getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Nito Pedrosa hit a great ball. In the 39thth minute of the game Cornelio Constancio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Young Angola's Rodrigo Novais was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Afonso Melo to strike the kick off in the second half. Fermin Porfiro lost his temper 53 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Igor Cordairo shot a long shot in the 69th minute and a light blocked Rodrigo Novais hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 5-0. Hernani Cunha's late challenge caught a LiBeRiA F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernani Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th match minute, Young Angola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernani Cunha to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Young Angola's zone, Igor Cordairo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Novais came out of the goal and Igor Cordairo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 81 minutes, Mauro Abajas made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Young Angola's Rodrigo Novais tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Young Angola's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Jusepe came free, but Rodrigo Novais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LiBeRiA F.C.'s Mario Molina got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Jusepe in the 89th minute of play forced Young Angola's goalkeeper Rodrigo Novais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Abajas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Young Angola's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
