Sandu Munteanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saverio Dominix. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sandu Munteanu ran back to his position shaking his head. Rovine Craiova were furious when Petre Ştiopul was red carded, 10 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 16 minutes of play, Rovine Craiova's Virgil Vergulescu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saverio Dominix was left in no man's land by his defense there! Matei Nasta kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Victorino Iban kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Virgil Vergulescu hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Constantino Urtsua hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Virgil Vergulescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Maquina 9-12-18's Saverio Dominix was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Virgil Vergulescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Saverio Dominix skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Virgil Vergulescus short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Saverio Dominix to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Rovine Craiova booed when La Maquina 9-12-18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Berasko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dacian Patrichi struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Saverio Dominix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rovine Craiova. In the 39th minute, Virgil Vergulescu made a precise shot to the right of Saverio Dominix. La Maquina 9-12-18's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 42 minutes into the game, Constantino Urtsua was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Maquina 9-12-18's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rovine Craiova the free kick. After a rather tough play, La Maquina 9-12-18's Constantino Urtsua got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Saverio Dominix was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sandu Munteanu. Sandu Munteanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saverio Dominix read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 49th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute of the match, Jacinto Marcones tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cezar Ghinescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sandu Munteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 played minutes La Maquina 9-12-18 got a freekick which was hit by Severino Berasko. The audience was convinced that Dacian Patrichi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saverio Dominix was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Dacian Patrichi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saverio Dominix having to make a save. After 74 played minutes Rovine Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Sandu Munteanu. In the 78th minute, Dacian Patrichi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saverio Dominix was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The supporters of La Maquina 9-12-18 booed when Rovine Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionuț Oroveanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Juan Telo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cezar Ghinescu. Juan Telo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Teo Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Sandu Munteanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saverio Dominix was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Iordache Andone kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When Sandu Munteanu came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Rovine Craiova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandu Munteanu couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Rovine Craiova were the better team. Rovine Craiova's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
