Brazil were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saulão Chettle took the corner. Brazil's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saulão Chettle in the 15th minute. After taking down the ball on Brazil's corner Marquinhos Xande fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fülöp Marton quite easily take care of the ball. At last the ball reached Lajos Szatmári at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Brazil. 2-0. The audience was convinced that Tivadar Demeter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaac Ferreira was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. The Brazil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Isaac Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tivadar Demeter, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Pál Polyák took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaac Ferreira. Isaac Ferreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. A well-hit corner resulted in Marquinhos Xande heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tivadar Demeter in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaac Ferreira saved Brazil from getting behind. Isaac Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tivadar Demeter in the 68th minute of the match. Brazil made a substitution. Luís Fabiano Cavalcante replaced Marquinhos Xande. Jácint Simon charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jácint Simon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Jácint Simon got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Brazil's goal looked a bit too open when Pál Polyák came free, but Isaac Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moisés Santana hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Isaac Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tivadar Demeter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mátyás Zakariás hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Hungary's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
