Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Brighouse FC's Azly Vijiaratnam started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brighouse FC's goalkeeper Billy Tunberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edwin Devine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ebelechukwu Agoda, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Shen Xun Yu struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Edwin Devine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brighouse FC. 16 minutes into the game, Real Cartagena's Dag Ahlrot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Billy Tunberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Dag Ahlrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27th minute Dag Ahlrot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Tunberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 minutes of play, Brighouse FC's Shen Xun Yu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edwin Devine was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Azly Vijiaratnam in the 35th minute of play forced Real Cartagena's goalkeeper Edwin Devine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Real Cartagena's goal looked a bit too open when Azly Vijiaratnam came free, but Edwin Devine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brighouse FC's Billy Tunberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dag Ahlrot in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Real Cartagena's zone, Agbami Ijiyokun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edwin Devine came out of the goal and Agbami Ijiyokun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the game, Sochi Ugochukwu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Edwin Devine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dag Ahlrot to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Brighouse FC's Eloka Waziri got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Edwin Devine made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shen Xun Yu in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute Domeka Albear shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Tunberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Sengrat Cieza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Real Cartagena booed when Brighouse FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ebelechukwu Agoda didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sochi Ugochukwu came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Brighouse FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sochi Ugochukwu couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Brighouse FC booed when Real Cartagena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sengrat Cieza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Real Cartagena's Harris Geraets was substituted for Dag Ahlrot. Billy Tunberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domeka Albear, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chus Ayarza in the 85th minute of play forced Brighouse FC's goalkeeper Billy Tunberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd match minute, Real Cartagena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roderick Blind to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Brighouse FC's Edwin Devine threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sochi Ugochukwu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sochi Ugochukwu in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edwin Devine saved Real Cartagena from getting behind. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
