Dênis Hoffmann made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Miguel Sanches sent off a good shot on target. Miguel Sanches who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Dênis Hoffmann when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dênis Hoffmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! 92 minutes into the game, Klaus Pichler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Dênis Hoffmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tim Holz kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Luxembourg had won after a very even match.
