To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, FCFiratRom's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Mihăilescu came free, but Zekai Hilal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zekai Hilal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Mihăilescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Golo Phoenix in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Golo Phoenix in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zekai Hilal saved FCFiratRom from getting behind. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Golo Phoenix got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dacian Ghițescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Er Can in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, Tiberiu Rotariu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Mihăilescu made a kick off. With a little luck, FCFiratRom's Zekai Hilal got control of the ball when Golo Phoenix tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute of the match PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca got a corner. FCFiratRom's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felix Mihăilescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Felix Mihăilescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zekai Hilal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Golo Phoenix in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zekai Hilal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Golo Phoenix struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Zekai Hilal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca. FCFiratRom made a substitution. Mehmet Emre Olcay replaced Bahattin Enfal. FCFiratRom's Necaettin Safih was substituted for Ali Nejat Maruf. Servet Tanırcan kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Golo Phoenix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Zekai Hilal made a huge save. The FCFiratRom supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's performance. The match ended with a win for PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca.
