After a rather tough play, Minotauro's Zé Paulo Mendonça got a free kick in the 9th minute. Giovanni de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Bållström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giovanni de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Ekeberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, Minotauro's Kiko Proença got a free kick in the 17th minute. Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Ekeberg in the 18th minute of play. After the first half Kingpins were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Giovanni de Toledo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mikael Ekeberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 83 minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Kingpins's Sven Bållström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovanni de Toledo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Giovanni de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Ekeberg in the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Mikael Ekeberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Giovanni de Toledo. That made the score 0-11 in the 97 minute of play. Kingpins played a much better game than Minotauro and deserved their victory. The Minotauro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
