The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Björn Ekegren managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Ronnys Lärjungar's Kjell-Arne Skott fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 7 minutes into the game, Olof Ersman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Edvin Bruhn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SSC Ambrosini's Björn Ekegren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save SSC Ambrosini from getting a goal against them. Ronnys Lärjungar's Edvin Bruhn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Åberg in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Ronnys Lärjungar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Beck to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute of the match Alf Kullgren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edvin Bruhn skillfully saved the ball. Edvin Bruhn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Ersman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Björn Ekegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Skott in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Olof Ersman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Björn Ekegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell-Arne Skott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27thth minute of the game Valdemar Åberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ronnys Lärjungar's Edvin Bruhn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Joel Forssell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edvin Bruhn was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 35 minutes into the match, SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper Björn Ekegren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrik Ahlrot. Thanks to some nice moves Patrik Ahlrot could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Björn Ekegren however easily saved by the left post. In the 35th minute, George Esbjörnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olof Ersman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edvin Bruhn having to make a save. In the 41st match minute, Ronnys Lärjungar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Esbjörnsson to maneuver through the defense. Patrik Ahlrot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Björn Ekegren made a huge save. If Kjell-Arne Skott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjell-Arne Skott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Björn Ekegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Ronnys Lärjungar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SSC Ambrosini were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valdemar Åberg to make the kick off. SSC Ambrosini were furious when Nils-Emil Tunberg was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Patrik Ahlrot took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Björn Ekegren. SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. George Esbjörnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Björn Ekegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Skott in the 60th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling George Esbjörnsson in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Björn Ekegren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes into the match, Kjell-Arne Skott notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of SSC Ambrosini's Björn Ekegren. Björn Ekegren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ronnys Lärjungar made a substitution. Sverker Björk replaced Tommy Beck. Patrik Ahlrot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hans Bergqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Edvin Bruhn made a huge save. Ronnys Lärjungar's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Hans Bergqvist scored to the left of an out of position Edvin Bruhn, making the score, 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Forssell during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th match minute, SSC Ambrosini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Forssell to maneuver through the defense. Björn Ekegren came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ronnys Lärjungar's Kjell-Arne Skott. But to his dismay, Kjell-Arne Skott quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. After some careless play in the SSC Ambrosini defense, Kjell-Arne Skott kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Björn Ekegren. The SSC Ambrosini fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Björn Ekegren should have stopped the shot. Alf Kullgren kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. There was no doubt that Ronnys Lärjungar were the better team. Ronnys Lärjungar's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
