An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima in the 18th minute of play forced DARAS's goalkeeper Vute Baliev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lukasz Traczewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzo Ivanov in the 19th minute of play. After 22 minutes of play, DARAS's Toni Nenchev made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lukasz Traczewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! When DARAS's Gonzo Ivanov in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vinnie Jones the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of DARAS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vinnie Jones had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 44 minutes into the game, one of DARAS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 47 played minutes DARAS got a freekick which was hit by Zahari Kerekov. Modlau made a substitution. Zlatin Ibrahimović replaced Kelaino Mbappè. The supporters of Modlau booed when DARAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zahari Kerekov didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonzo Ivanov to strike the kick off in the second half. The corner was taken by Czeslaw Miecznikowski in the 70th minute. With splendid footwork Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-1 by the left pole in the game's 72nd minute. Lukasz Traczewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzo Ivanov in the 79th minute of play. Vute Baliev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zlatin Ibrahimović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The DARAS players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
