Pedro Luís Fernandez made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Håkan Petersson sent off a good shot on target. When Säfvahöjden's Van Schouten in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marzagão's goalie prevented a goal. In the 11th minute of the match Säfvahöjden got a corner. Marzagão's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ove Stålman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pedro Luís Fernandez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Van Schouten's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Mattias Albom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Luís Fernandez. Marzagão's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mattias Albom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 19 minutes, Fabiano de Queiroz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marzagão and the Säfvahöjden players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Marzagão got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano de Queiroz. When Van Schouten came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Säfvahöjden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Van Schouten couldn't finish the play. Pedro Luís Fernandez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Håkan Petersson in the 22nd minute. After 31 minutes, Van Schouten made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mattias Albom scored 5-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Luís Fernandez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Luís Fernandez was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Van Schouten capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Van Schouten really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. The supporters of Säfvahöjden booed when Marzagão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleiton Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute of the match Ove Stålman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Luís Fernandez skillfully saved the ball.

Pedro Luís Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonny Wallin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Serafim Reis fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marzagão's protests and gave Serafim Reis a yellow card for diving instead. Serafim Reis hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Wallin in the 83rd minute of play forced Marzagão's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Sonny Wallin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-1. In the 88th minute Sonny Wallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Luís Fernandez came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Säfvahöjden's Sonny Wallin. But to his dismay, Sonny Wallin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-1. Konrad Vennerdal kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. After 99 minutes, Sonny Wallin made it 12-1 with a short kick to the right side. Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Säfvahöjden players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
